ok so i'm having trouble navigating this forum, it could be organized better so that i don't have to scroll a mile to get to where i want to go.
second i cant find any real rules on how i should create a character.
i'm not sure if the character has to go to the high school?
can it go to a different highschool and still be part of the brigade?
does my character have to be originally born/raised/built/materialized/based/created in japan?
does it have to have an asian name?
how long the history have to be?
If your an esper, do your powers have to only be inside the gray zone things, or can you have a different power?
if your an alien do you have to be from the integrated data entity?
are you assigned your classes by the moderators?
are you assigned what branch of the sos brigade you have to be in?
do you have to be part of the sos brigade?
if not is it possible to make up your own organization?
is being struck by lightning 3 times within 5 minutes of each other and living count as a realistic character, ie. what defines a realistic character in this rp?

I will answer all those with yes or nos, with the exception of Question 1, which isn't really a question, and Question 2, which is also not phrased as a question.
First off, the forum is organized very well, and can be organized no other way.
Second off, read the rules in 'SOS Creed' and the 'Character Help Sheet' in the Character profile board.

Yes and no. It is, basically a requirement, but if you're a teacher character you obviously can't, so yeah...
You can make your own organization, as long as it makes sense, and is explained. This is not an organization for school! This organization would be your 'race'. Something beside Alien, IDE, Human, Time Traveler, Esper, or Slider.
NO, NO, NO! Focus on real world standards. And then focus on the Haruhi world, and mesh them. The realism is a tie between these two. Things that would normally cause death, are tied through Real World, but 'magic' and 'mystic' stuff is tied through the Haruhi world.
